Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan[blog] , though it seems better also as blog is becoming a virtual war zone for these top honchos and they left no stone upturned to make others bow on there feet.


In his words:
"I am not interested in blogging and don't want to comment or join the war of blogs. Sorry, no blogging for me," says Hrithik.

"I am enjoying my fatherhood these days and very soon will be busy with my next project 'Kites' to be shot outdoor extensively. I am not giving any serious thought to blogging given my busy schedule. As for the future, I can't say,"


This should be an idle answer for keeping him away from muddy arena.

His near future plans:
Hrithik, for the very first time in his career plays a "raunchy" role in his dad's next "Kites" .

"Shooting will start from the next month and it's too early to talk about it at this stage," says the actor, who made his film debut with the blockbuster 'Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai' (2000).

"This movie will take a year or so to get completed and I will have more to talk about it after its completion," he says.

The movie, starring US-based Spanish model Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut in the lead is about the romantic engagements between an Indian boy and a Latino girl who do not speak each other's language, in which Hrithik plays a man who keeps oscillating between love and lust.

The movie to be shot mostly in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles will be directed by Anurag Basu with music by Rajesh Roshan.

Lets have a look at what the future tells , but till now for Hrithik "NO BLOGGING"

India seeks Israeli technology to boost litchi output

India is eyeing Israeli technology to increase the life span of the litchi fruit after searing heat destroyed much of the crops in Bihar, which accounts for 70 percent of domestic production.

"Israel has got the technology that will help litchi growers as well as those engaged in its marketing to earn lucrative prices," K.K. Kumar, director of the National Research Centre for Litchi at Muzaffarpur, told IANS.

Israel, Kumar said over telephone, had an innovative technology to keep perishable fruits like litchi fresh for at least 28 days. "Access to this technology will manifold increase earnings."

According to him, the Indian agriculture ministry plans to sign a memorandum of understanding with Israel.

Experts say that the agro-climatic condition of Bihar is ideal for litchi, a huge popular fruit in summer.


The number of farmers in the state growing litchis has increased in the last decade, especially in Muzaffarpur district, 70 km away, and neighbouring areas along the river Gandak.

Kumar said that lichi production this year had been badly hit by high temperatures, followed immediately by rains. Farmers and exporters have all been hit.



"Inclement weather conditions and a fall in the water table have affected litchi cultivation, " he said. "Many farmers went for pre-mature harvesting to lessen the losses."

Exporters too were hit hard. Last year, a record 100 tonnes of litchi was exported. This year, this would not come to even half the quantity.

The quality of litchi fruit has also suffered. Many have turned sour. The export quality litchis are to be delicious and should have the diameter of six cm.
Bihar's lone exporter of litchi, Raj Kumar Kedia, said that 40 percent of the fruit had been destroyed by the excessive heat in April, followed by the rains.

"The fruit has been damaged and its quality is not fit for export," he said.

Bhola Nath Jha, a litchi farmer, said that bad weather had derailed litchi cultivation.

All this has led those in the litchi industry to look at Israeli technology. Countries that import Indian litchi include the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Canada, Russia and Yemen.

Billo Barber has to khans SRK and the actor Irrfan Khan. The two hot Khans dont share the same hairstylist. Dont get muddle-headed. We are talking about upcoming movie produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment to be directed by Priyadarshan,which will have Irrfan Khan playing the main protagonist.

SRK is collaborating with ace director Priyadarshan for a comedy flick titled, ‘ Billo Barber’. Unlike all SRK produced movie, Billo Barber will have SRK in a supporting role and Irrfan Khan is the main hero.

The director dips into the pool of Malayalam cinema for inspiration once again. This time, he picks last year's hit, Kadha Parayumbol, starring Sreenivasan and Mammootty.

Irrfan Khan will reprise Sreenivasan's role, while SRK will take up Mammootty's part.

The story for Billo Barber is inspired from the legend of Krishna and Sudama. The film is the story about friendship between a rich actor (SRK) and a poor barber (IK). The duos were langotia yaars in their childhood. But later drift apart only to meet again.

An industry insider reveals, ” Billo Barber is a story based on the relationship between Krishan and his childhood friend Sudama. Priyan is adapting this story of friendship between two friends-in a completely new avatar. Here SRK represents Krishna, he plays an actor.On the other hand Irrfan Khan represents Sudama and plays a village barber. The two are friends from school who grow up and drift until they meet again.”

The story is set in today's day and age. Billo (Irrfan Khan) plays a village barber. His business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends.

According to rumors, SRK will be romancing three top actresses-Kareena, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

Juhi Chawla will play Billo's wife.

Meanwhile the lady opposite Irrfan Khan is yet to be finalized. Priyan is looking for a energetic actress like Samita Patil for the role. Most probably Ameesha Patel or Tabu will clinch the deal.

Lets see the sizzling chemistry between the two hot Khans.

Here is how we can check the expiry of LPG cylinders:




On one of three side stems of the cylinder,

the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows

A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06.



The alphabets stand for quarters -

A for March (First Qtr),

B for June (Second Qtr),

C for Sept (Third Qtr), &

D for December (Fourth Qtr).



The digits stand for the year till it is valid. Hence D06 would mean Fourth Qtr (December) of 2006.

Bihar's litti-chokha on global menu

Bihar's famous litti and chokha [recipe] may have earned a name for its earthy taste. Now this Bihari delicacy is to be promoted for reasons very few would have ever thought of — high-fibre content and low calorie.

On his maiden visit to Bihar as corporate chef of ITDC-affiliated Ashoka Group of Hotels, M S Gupta has marked these qualities and is planning to promote these food items both at the national and international levels.

"People these days have become health conscious. Apart from being tasty, litti and chokha , are rich in fibre and low on calorie. This will certainly suit the taste of those looking for a combination of tasty and healthy food," Gupta told TOI on Tuesday. He said both these items would be included in the menu of Ashoka Group of hotels and served at the international food festivals to be organized by ITDC in Germany and Hungary later this year.

Gupta does not want to make it a one-way traffic. He also plans to provide Biharis with an opportunity to have a taste of delicacies from Pakistan's North West Frontier Province. "We are going to organize a Pakhtoon Food Festival in Patna in the third week of July where Patnaites will get a chance to taste Pakhtoon dishes like Paththar Kawab, Sakahat Kawab and Chicken Hazarwi", he said.

Having catered to the taste buds of the likes of former US President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Gupta, a member of the elite Club Chef de Chef, shared some of the favourite items which these VVIPs love to have on their plates.

"Clinton is a food connoisseur. During his official visit to India in the year 2000 he enjoyed all the Indian specialities served. I also invented a special soup, Kesariya Badam Shorba, for him which he appreciated very much,” he said.

Describing PM Manmohan Singh a simpleton in terms of his choice for food, Gupta said he had special preference for grilled items and sugar-free deserts. "Soniaji, on the other hand, is a soup-lover. I recently invented a special soup for her made of pumpkin," he said.

"Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee loves deep-fried item and has a special liking for grilled fish," Gupta added.
Having worked as a senior to Shef Sanjeev Kapoor, Gupta has a mantra for making food tasty. "A food cooked with patience and affection is bound to be tasty,"
