An incident

------------

Praful D. Bhavsar had taken his B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) Degree. In 1948, he went to Poona to study for the Master of Science Degree. He could not secure admission to any college there. Then, Dr. L. A. Ramdas (of the India Meteorological Department at Poona) told him of the Physical Research Laboratory that Vikram Sarabhai had recently started at Ahmedabad. He told Bhavsar that if he met Vikram Sarabhai his problem would be solved. Bhavsar went to see Sarabhai.

By that time Sarabhai was in a small room, engaged in, blowing a piece of glass tube. He was wearing white Khaddar trousers and a bright green coat. Vikram welcomed Bhavsar with a smile and requested him to wait till his work to be completed. He appeared very simple and free from vanity. Bhavsar had his own mental picture of a great experimental physicist. That picture seemed to have come to life in Sarabhai. Therefore, Bhavsar was ready at that very moment to accept Sarabhai as his Guru (teacher). Sarabhai put him many questions. After finding out why he wanted to study physics, how keen his interest in the subject was and such other details, he admitted him to the Laboratory.

What is the correct way of eating fruits? know how and when to eat!!!

EATING FRUIT...

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.
Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying hair
, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

Once the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) is ratified at the Parliaments of India and Switzerland, India will be given access to the information it wants on bank deposits and accounts of Indians.

BANGALORE: Once the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) is ratified at the Parliaments of India and Switzerland, India will be given access to the information it wants on bank deposits and accounts of Indians.
Switzerland’s Ambassador to India H E Philippe Welti disclosed this here on Friday.
At a session on ‘Switzerland- India: A strong partnership, investment & business opportunities’, he said the Indian Parliament was ready to ratify the DTAA and Switzerland would do it soon.
Switzerland, Welti said, still had distinction between tax fraud and tax evasion.
“While tax fraud is a crime, tax evasion is not, though it is prohibited in our country.
We have strict rules for banks and have signed about 70-75 bilateral treaties and agreements with several SAARC countries,” he explained.

Taiwanese handset maker HTC launched its Android-based smartphone, Sensation, in the Indian market, priced at Rs 32,700 to take on the likes of Apple's iPhone 4 and Samsung's Galaxy S II.

The smartphone features Qualcomm's 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon processor, which will enhance the computing speed of the device.
"We have strong plan to penetrate into the Indian market in the next one to two years and want to be a leading brand in smart phone market in India. Products like these will help us in consolidating our position here," HTC Corporation president (South Asia Pacific) Lennard Hoornik told reporters here.
HTC Sensation launched in India at Rs 32,700
The handset is equipped with a 4.3-inch touch screen and an eight megapixel camera. The handset also comes with an 'instant camera capture' feature, which offers faster shutter speed allowing users to click photographs faster.
Asked about the challenges the company faces in smart phone market in India, Hoornik said though this is a huge market, it would take some time to reach out to the entire market.
According to industry estimates, current smartphone sales are about five million a year, and it is expected to grow to about 8 million units in annual sales next year.
Growing smartphones sales are expected to get a further fillip with the roll out of 3G services in the country. 3G services, which offer high-speed Internet access, have already been doled out by operators like Bharti airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular and Aircel.
India is the world's second-largest market, after China, for telecom services with 826.93 million subscribers at the end of April, 2011.
US-based Apple has launched its iPhone 4 in India and rivals Nokia, Samsung and LG are also introducing newer smartphones to stay ahead in the heated smartphone race
